My 9–5 wasn’t a waste of time. It was Necessary for my Passion to bloom.

Things it taught me. That is Helping me BIG TIME in the success I’m gaining online.

If Your are someone who is looking to quit your 9–5,

Hold on!

You have a passion you want to follow and leave the corporate world finally.

You are tired of waiting for approvals for a day off even for doctor’s appointment.

Waiting, for paycheck every month end.

Waiting for approval for the holidays.

Waiting for a mail response from your manager.

Waiting for the weekend every Monday

Waiting for the clock to strike 6 every morning

Waiting in traffic to get home an hour later.

Does this how your life look right now?

Well, kudos to you if you have a strong urge to quit this and you have found your passion. Congratulations on that.

Now, before it strikes you, as to why you haven’t thought of following your passion earlier?

Why is it that you didn’t know what you liked to do earlier.

Well, we’re all in this together.

We have our regrets.

But, for all we knew at the time, simply remember that we took all the Decisions with the Best of our knowledge back then.

So, instead of regretting for knowing less. Let’s embrace our decisions and reflect on what are the invaluable things our 9–5 has to teach us that would speed up our growth in following our passion.

Here’s a list of valuable lessons from our very dear and horror 9–5 corporate Life.

1. Never take Anything for granted!

As your Boss always said. This one things has stuck in my mind when my boss told me once that I did not update something about my patient, because it didn’t seem important to me or the condition of the patient I’m treating. He told me, it isn’t about how important it is, You never know the patient behaviour. So, documenting even the most insignificant information could save you from a lot of misunderstandings and conversational barriers.

How does that help in my Online Blogging, I take everything serious, from every line I write, from every damn point on my SEO Checklist. The backlinks, everything related to posting a blog is important to me now.

2.Our Typing speed.

If you want to be a writer or anything in the digital world, this skill is mostly underestimated. This one skill that we usually and very often take for granted has actually made life easy without our knowledge.

3. Documentation,

The skill that would help you organize and plan and schedule your content.

Documentation is going to be your best friends through out. Documenting everything helps you plan better, and for the time to come it will be a Great resource or a content for your most wanted success Blog that you would write Or a great Content to Write a Book even. So you could share your journey with the world. That would be the long term benefit of documenting. So remember to keep a Journal for each and everything you do professional and even the lifestyle changes that helped you follow your passion successfully.

4. Organisation

likewise documentation, this skill helps you organise your work and helps you take small steps and understand the immense value the tiny steps carry.

Thus helps you manage emotions too. If things are organised your goal becomes much much more clear and crisp. It gives a Structure to the results you expect in the path you’re in. Organising would truly help you form a habit our a healthy routine and clock your brain into doing the important work towards your Goal.

5. The WAIT / PATIENCE

You’ve waited for almost the whole month for the paycheck that doesn’t even last for 15 long days. This Patience will take us a LONG LONG WAY… in our journey of passion, may it be Freelancing, Blogging, Art etc.

Because getting clients of viewers for your blog requires tremendous amount of Patience.

6. Being BROKE

This is One very important skill that the low paying jobs teach us. As this truly helps us survive the beginning months of following our passion with lesser resources. Right from the food we eat, to clothes we buy. It teaches us the value of minimalism and savings. That would take us a LONG way in our journey.

7. Managing Emotions

It becomes very much necessary to control and navigate through your emotions because they are going to have the Ride of a lifetime once you begin something New. And this will definitely help you in Your growth as well.
